OFFICE MANAGER CONNIE WHETSEL

Connie Whetsel began her 43 year career working in law enforcement in 1980, as a Records Clerk for the Madison County Sheriff’s Department.  In May of 2013, Connie left the Madison County Sheriff’s Department and accepted a position with the Pendleton Police Department as Office Manager.  Connie’s responsibilities include reviewing and finalizing all reports that are completed by Officers, assisting citizens with questions, registration of non-traditional vehicles, completing paperwork for the National Incident Based Reporting System (NIBRS), and much more.  Connie is the main point of contact at the Pendleton Police Department for anyone needing copies of any paperwork.

CHAPLAIN AARON HARGIS

Chaplain Aaron Hargis has been with the Pendleton Police Department since March of 2022 and is the pastor of Solid Rock Baptist Church in Pendleton. Chaplain Hargis has a Bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Ministry, is certified in Critical Incident Stress Management and has completed chaplaincy certification through the International Conference of Police Chaplains.

Chaplain Hargis desires to offer a ministry of presence to the PPD, their immediate family members and the community. Chaplain Hargis and his family are actively involved in the town and have been ministering to the community since moving to Pendleton in 2010.
