Shelter Houses

Falls Park has five open air shelters that are available to the public on a first-come, first-serve basis. With the exception of the Large Shelter House near the playground, which is reservable. Please call the office for rates and availability. A small shelter sits in front of the large shelter. Other shelters throughout the park are located just east of the Community Building, near the circle area; one between Brown Pool and the YMCA; and a shelter is located at the North Entrance to the park, about a mile north of the main entrance.

Falls Park is a busy place in the Summer and Fall. Many large community events take place, primarily in the front of the park and around the Community Building, utilizing the two nearby shelters. Please check our Town Hall calendar and the events calendar before making your plans, to see if there is an event happening on your desired day. 

Please note that from early November through early April, depending on the weather, the shelter houses are "put to rest" for the winter with picnic tables being unavailable. The restrooms are also closed during that time.
