Log Cabin Project

Log Cabin

In 2021, a grassroots citizens group rallied together around a mission; to save the flood-threatened log cabin on Mill Road in Pendleton. This formed the Log Cabin Project and committee. Donated by Steve and Annie Wills, the log cabin was moved to a new home on the "North 40" in Falls Park and restored. Grants of funds and labor were procured for this project, two grants of which came from the South Madison Community Foundation, whos support has been          integral to our mission. After the cabin was restored, it fell under the management of and maintanence of Falls Park.

The cabin is available to be used by schools for       educational purposes, it may also be rented out for weddings, family gatherings, and events, and used for additional community needs.
