Town Court

Pendleton Town Court is located in the Pendleton Town Hall. The jurisdiction of the Court is limited to infractions and local ordinance violations.

If you have received a ticket, you have 60 days to complete payment or contact the court regarding resolution. Failure to respond to a ticket will result in additional fees and driver’s license suspension.

Online ticket payment can be made by selecting “Pay Your Ticket” from the menu options or by using the State of Indiana Payment Portal at You can also use this link to look up the amount due on your ticket.

Payments can also be made by Money Order, Certified Check or Cashier’s Check made out to Pendleton Town Court. Cash or personal checks are not accepted. Include your name and ticket number with your payment to ensure timely processing. You can find the amount due for your ticket at

To deny your charge and request a court appearance: you must sign your ticket on the signature line at the bottom and mark the circle indicating “deny the violation”. Mail your signed ticket to the Court PO Box listed above, or drop off your signed ticket at the Town Hall address listed above during business hours. The court must receive your signed ticket within 60 days of ticket being issued. You will then be notified by mail of your scheduled court date. Ensure your mailing address is correct on your ticket.

Failure to appear in court or pay judgement within 60 days of date of ticket will result in a late fee and an order for driver’s license suspension.

Utility Office

Indiana Emergency Rental Assistance Program

The Indiana Emergency Rental Assistance (IERA) program is designed to decrease evictions, increase housing stability, and prevent homelessness by helping renter households whose income has been negatively impacted by COVID-19 with rent and utility assistance. This program can provide up to 12 months in rental assistance to help cover past due and ongoing monthly rent and utility payments for qualifying Indiana renters.

The Pendleton Utility Office is responsible for billing water, electric, stormwater, and trash fees. The staff helps customers starting new water or electric utility services, posting payments, and addressing customer concerns. The Town offers several easy ways to pay your utility bill. Payments can be made in-person, through mail, or online. In-person payments can be made to the Utility Office inside Town Hall from 9 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday. After hours, use the 24-hour payment slot next to the Town Hall front door.

Planning Department

The Planning Department promotes the comprehensive growth of the Town of Pendleton. The Department oversees the town’s zoning and land use policies and works to encourage appropriate economic development within the community. The Planning Department is also responsible for issuing building permits and certificates of occupancy.
