For a small Midwestern town, Pendleton offers some pretty big business advantages. Our location, our people, and our business-friendly atmosphere make this town a great place to start—or grow—your business.
Business Park Opportunities
Numerous business park opportunities exist in the Town of Pendleton along Interstate 69 at Exit 219. Exit 219 is just 20 minutes north of Indianapolis. It’s also perfectly situated near some of the Midwest’s other major cities: Chicago (160 miles), St. Louis (265 miles), Detroit (250 miles), Fort Wayne (90 miles), Cincinnati (90 miles), Evansville (195 miles), Louisville (150 miles).
Falls Pointe Business Park
Falls Pointe is one of the most attractive business development sites in Indiana today. The park is owned by the Town of Pendleton and has been developed specifically to balance the needs of the community, the environment, and modern business. Inside the boundaries of Falls Pointe, everything has been designed to exceed the needs of large industry. Sites can be personalized to meet unique requirements, and all utilities are available, including high-pressure natural gas and fiber optic lines. Employee needs haven’t been forgotten, either. Day care and medical facilities are within view of the park, as are numerous restaurants.
The Pendleton Redevelopment Commission is here with the acumen, energy, and interest to work with you and your company or business to locate or expand in Pendleton. The RDC oversees the town’s Tax Increment Financing District and the Falls Pointe Business Park.
The RDC consists of six members appointed by the Town Council and the South Madison Community School Corporation Board. Commission meetings are held the fourth Thursday of each month at 6 pm in Pendleton Town Hall. Special meetings and cancellations are posted on the town calendar.
